You need this if you use an oven/grill. Yes, it's expensive, but the detail and thought that went into the packaging is just a prelude to the product inside. Well thought out, well made, modular, and easily customized to the cooking you're doing. Out of the box I stacked the basquettes and air fried (convection roasted) 6 pounds of cut up and battered fried chicken at 400 degrees. Used a temp probe. Flipped the baskets after 15 minutes. No mess as everything is done on a cookie sheet. KFC, eat your heart out! Next up, smooking on the Traeger
This product Does.It.All. The construction is very high quality, sturdy, easy to assemble, use, clean. Dishwasher safe. Spray with non-stick before using and they do NOT stick to any foods. We cooked up frozen apps (french fries, onion rings, frozen apps) for a large group all at the same time, and they come out CRISPY, beautifully browned, no burnt edges. SO great to do for a crowd. We cooked a favorite stuffed chicken breast recipe, and it was easy to convert it to a Basquettes recipe. Think Air-Fryer but SO much more versatile! You can put the protein in the top level and veggies below, and the veggies get flavor from the drippings, but it is all caught in the baking pan below, not on your plate! Chicken and beef come out SO juicy and tender, veggies cook to perfection. Cannot WAIT to try more uses! Highly recommend for quality, versatility, does not take up space on your countertop like an appliance, stores in your vertical tray storage, easy to clean, everything has been a success so far! Mad props!
